They say we should freshen our rooms up every 3 to 5 years and then a major makeover is usually due every 10 yrs. Well, I took a look at the pic you guys are use to seeing and realized it was taken when I was 60. I really didn't think it was that old. I also realized that I had been wearing my hair basically the same way for all those years and more too. Since I just turned 71, that is more than 10 yrs. and I was definitely due for a makeover. So today was the day.
This is what you are use to seeing. (Sorry for the bad quality, it was a pic of a pic.)

Now the new me. New hairstyle, new makeup, the works!!!

Short and sassy.

See, it is REALLY short. I think it needs a little bit heavier frosting, but otherwise I like it for a change.

A lot more wrinkles since the first pic, but hey, I earned every one of them, and I'm learning to wear them well. lol The make up specialist switched me out to just a tinted moisturizer. It gives the skin a little bit of a glow, and it doesn't settle into those beloved wrinkles. We need to remember to update our makeup every once in a while too.

I've changed out my profile photo to this one. If you see me on the street, I want you to be able to recognize me and be sure to stop and say hello.
So, how long since you did a complete makeover?
Thanks so much for stopping by, I always appreciate your visits.
