19th Table Top Tuesday - Orange & Silver Vignette

Welcome to the 19th Table Top Tuesday. I am so glad you joined us today for some great eye candy and inspiration.

I am still on the same orange, lime green and yellow kick and loving it. I found these bright candles at the Dollar Tree, so I thought I would brighten up this little corner with a bit more orange. The previous vignette was all in white. Loving all the orange.

A little silver and glass always look fabulous to me. I found the three candlesticks and the little silver plate at Goodwill. The silver bowl is one I've had for a long time.

My bird topped cloche with a berry wreath and flower inside to surround a cute little white bird on a pedestal. Some ribbons on the cloche for fun and that's all it took.

Love this cloche, it's a perfect medium size and love the little bird.

Since this table is in the corner, I think the bright orange really helps to brighten this area.

Bright and cheery. Great for a change.

Don't forget about the "SUMMER CLOCHE PARTY ON JULY 16TH". Please grab my button and help spread the word. This is always so much fun. Don't forget that you don't have to have a cloche. How about a birdcage, apothecary jar, wire basket upside down or maybe a hurricane lantern. Just use anything you have that you can decorate inside. That's what makes it so much fun, to see how creative everyone is.

Thanks for stopping by, I always look forward to your visits.

Sunday Favorites - Polishing The Silver

Thanks to the wonderful Chari @ Happy To Design for hosting this fun party. Be sure to visit her and see all the fabulous entries in this wonderful meme.

This is a post that I did last year, and since it was time to clean all the silver again, I thought it would be fun to show a tablescape that I did last year with a few of my silver pieces. Some of my silver are gifts that I have received and the rest are precious heirlooms from my mom and mother-in-law. I love the sparkle and love to see it all shiny.

Hurray, it's time for one of my favorite meme's, and thanks again to Susan @ Between Naps On The Porch for hosting Tablescape Thursdays. Be sure to visit her and see her lovely tablescape and all the other participants.

I've set the table for a very small dinner party. I thought I would use some of my silver for this table.

I've used all white with the only color being the silver and the dark navy napkins.

I found the candlesticks at GW and they are perfect with the silver pieces that I'm using.

I've used my silver water pitcher to hold the flowers and the candle light just makes them sparkle.

A look at the entire table.

The little mirrored tealight holders came from the Dollar Tree and create some extra sparkle on the table. Love the way the cut and etched crystal picks up all the light.

    A view from above.

We'll be serving Sparkling Cider, compliments of Laura from the Az. Blogger lunch. I placed it in a crystal wine saucer and placed a silver stopper to use after it is opened.

Love this silver butter buttler and the salt and peppers. They are a couple of my very first pieces.

My silver coffee service. I've set the table with cups and saucer so we can have coffee with dinner since the weather has cooled down.

Silver gravy boat. This will hold the Aujus to go with the Prime Rib.

Two different crystal patterns, both are very old, however I don't know the pattern of either one.

Navy blue napkin with the white Gibson dishes from Big Lots and silver chargers that I found at the GW. The lace tablecloth is one that I've had forever.

    Just a little candle light.

This just shows that you can set a pretty table without a lot of expense. I know a lot of people are getting rid of their silver and I see it all the time at GW. I have had all of mine for many, many years and I still love it, however there are some fabulous buys out there if you are in the market. If you like silver, just pick up a few pieces and add them to a simple table and watch how it changes everything.
Thanks so much for stopping by, I always look forward to your visits.

I'm Home - Missed You All

Hello everyone, so good to be home. We've had a great time visiting family and friends and getting a little R & R.

The main reason for the trip, is to see this cutie, our grandson, graduate from High School. Such a handsome and fabulous young man. I am so proud of him.

    His graduating class.

We also had a chance to see a few of these on our trip.

And the weather and the water were so cool compared to Arizona. Loved it.

I was so happy to see that my scheduled posts really did post. I tried to check in when I could, and I promise I will make the rounds as soon as possible to see what all everyone has been up to. Missed you all.

Sister in the Bloggerette Sorority Rush

Today I am joining Karen @ Some Days Are Diamonds for our first Bloggerette Sorority gathering. Be sure to visit her to see who all has joined our sorority.

Karen gave us this picture and asked that we create something, anything, the only instruction was that our picture had to be in it. So, I finally figured out how to get my picture in it. That's me in the center.

I'm not a scrapbooker, so I had a hard time figuring out what to do. I finally decided that a certificate was appropriate.

See, it says that I am a certified member. Yippee!!!!!

I've created a vignette on my desk area to show off my new certificate.

How fun is this. I can hardly wait to see all of your wonderful creations, and meet all my new sorority sisters that I don't know.
