I'm Back & A Giveaway

Paradise was fabulous and we had such a great time.  I so have to thank all of the fabulous ladies that did a Guest Post for me while we were gone.  They are such lovely and gracious ladies and I hope you enjoyed all of their posts and you added them to your "follow list".  Thank you all so much, I am so grateful.

We stayed at the Westin K'anapali Villas , such a beautiful place.  Here's a little tour of Maui.

This is the lobby, isn't it wonderful how open-air everything is.

Since Hawaii is 3 hours earlier than we are, DH and I were really early risers.  We had a chance to walk around the whole complex and take pictures while most everyone else was still sleeping.  Hubby caught me playing tourist and snapping pics.

This is a beautiful Koi pond.

Looking from beside the Koi pond back at the lobby and entrance to the resort.

This was such a fabulous place for the kids to play.  It was so much fun watching them slide down all the slides and play.  Our room was on the 4th floor overlooking this ship and the ocean.  Gorgeous.

Just one of several pools and hot tub spas.

Open air restaurant.  Great for breakfast.

    Orchids growing everywhere.

    More orchids

    and still more.

Just past the pools, you walked up a small grassy area and there was the beach.

Beautiful, and the water was perfect.  I loved walking on the beach.  So pretty and you could look across and see two other island.

A stroll on the beach and I just couldn't resist the water.

I had an email that said, hope your toes are in the sand.  Yep, they were!!!!

This is some of the gorgeous vegetation at the State Park, taken from a lookout tower.  That was quite the climb, but so worth it.

Super windy and misty rain, but the scenery was totally unreal.

This was a beautiful area on a plantation where they grow all kinds of things.  We went on a tram ride and saw fields of coconut and mango trees, ginger plants of all kinds, and every tropical plant you can think of.  Such a pretty place.

They also have a lot of outdoor weddings here.

A picture of DH standing by some of the wonderful plants just outside of their welcome center.

Of course you always have to go to a Luau when you're in Hawaii.

There are real pink flamingos also.  These were in the lobby pool of the Westin Hotel.

A final swim and walk on the beach at night.

I wanted to bring back something from our trip for a giveaway, so when I saw these wonderful burlap coffee bags, I just knew this was it.  We saw the coffee plants and how they pick and roast them, the smell is so heavenly you could just die.  I bought two of these bags.  I plan to use mine for a table runner, and I thought they would also make fabulous pillows too, you could create at least 2 or maybe more since they are quite large.  I thought they would be a great gift since burlap is so popular now and all of blogland seems to be creating such fabulous things.

Thanks so much for taking the tour of Maui with me.  We had a fabulous trip.
