The tree is up and all of our decor is finished.  We love an old fashioned tree filled with family heirlooms and collected ornaments from many past Christmas's.  Very simple decor with the tree being the star of the show.  At night the lights make the whole room glow. A daytime view showing the many, many ornaments, and all the stocking ready to be filled. Doves and angels for the season. Vintage

Welcome to the 78th Table Top Tuesday.  Because of space limitations, I have a very small end table between the two leather chairs in the familyroom.  One of these chairs is DH's recliner and so I have to keep the table top really as open as possible so he has room for a small snack and drink.   Trying to create an interesting vignette is hard on such a small surface.  The anniversary clock has

I think every home needs a little gold and silver and a little bling to bring sparkle to a room.  I found a new treasure and transformed an old one.The GW didn't have much, I think they just had their 1/2 off Sat. sale and the shelves were really empty, but as I hit the last aisle, there sat this wonderful silver piece.A lovely Oneida silver coffee pot.  I loved the detail and the little carved

My Hubby came in all excited and announced "I brought you a treasure".  Then he layed this down in front of me.  My question was "What is it?"  "It's a pod of course was his reply."  Hummmmmm He cracked it open and out came all these seeds and he was right, the inside really is pretty. Just look at the character inside this pod.  I love the look.   Now I am sure I can find someway to display this
